Goa dinner cruise booking checklist: what to confirm before paying

Check the actual boat, adult and child quote, menu, jetty, reporting time and transfer exclusions before booking a dinner cruise in Goa.

Illuminated dinner cruise on the Mandovi River

Start with the actual boat and date

Ask for availability on your chosen date and confirm the boat name. A general “Goa dinner cruise” enquiry does not identify the menu, seating or entertainment. Compare the listed boat details before accepting a substitution, and keep the final choice in your confirmation.

Get one complete group quote

Send the adult count and each child’s age. Child pricing differs between boats, so do not apply one boat’s policy to another. Ask whether any extras or charges remain outside the quoted amount and distinguish a per-person ticket from a whole-boat charter quote.

Read the dinner and drinks inclusions

Use the actual menu and inclusion list to compare boats. Ask about dietary requirements before paying rather than assuming every buffet can accommodate them. Drinks may have a fixed allowance, and extra beverages can be chargeable.

Save the exact boarding instructions

Confirm the jetty and reporting time, not only the sailing window. Most listed Mandovi cruises use a Panjim jetty, but Vihan lists a private Panaji jetty. Carry the requested ID and leave room for traffic when travelling from your hotel.

Confirm transfers, changes and cancellation terms

Hotel pickup and drop are not part of the listed base tickets. Request both journeys separately if needed. Read Navora’s refund policy and ask for the terms applicable to your sailing, including changes or cancellation, before committing. An enquiry alone is not a booking confirmation.
