Frequently asked questions

The questions our WhatsApp gets every single day, answered properly. If yours isn't here, ask us — we reply between 8am and 10pm IST.

Booking & payment

How do I book?+

Send an enquiry from any page on this site or message +91 78601 56369. We check live availability, send you a written confirmation with a reference number, and take payment by UPI, card or at the jetty desk.

Is an advance required?+

For cruises and water sports, no — many guests pay on the day. Private yacht charters, private jeeps and corporate events need a 30% advance to hold the date.

Do prices include taxes?+

Yes. Quoted prices include GST, jetty fees and permits. The only extras are things you choose on the day, like a cake, extra drinks or onboard photographs.

Can I book for today?+

Often yes. Same-day cruise seats are usually available up to two hours before departure outside the Christmas and New Year weeks. Call rather than email for same-day requests.

Cruises

What time should we reach the jetty?+

Thirty minutes before departure. Boarding closes at departure time and boats do not wait.

Is there a dress code?+

Smart casual on dinner and premium sailings — no swimwear or bare feet. Sunset and daytime sailings are relaxed.

Is the buffet vegetarian friendly?+

Yes. Every dinner cruise runs a full veg and non-veg counter, and Jain meals can be arranged with 24 hours' notice.

Are kids allowed?+

Yes on all cruises. Under-fives sail free on most boats and 5–10 year olds pay the child rate. The late party sailings suit older kids better.

Yachts & charters

How many guests fit on a charter?+

Our yachts take 8 to 25 guests depending on the boat. Larger groups run as a two-boat charter sailing together.

Can we bring our own food and alcohol?+

Cake and soft drinks yes, at no charge. Outside alcohol is allowed on some boats with a corkage fee; we will tell you which when you pick the yacht.

Where do charters sail?+

Britona and Mormugao are our usual departure points, sailing to the river mouth, Grande Island or along the Aguada coast depending on hours booked and sea state.

Dudhsagar trek & adventure

Which months does the Dudhsagar trip run?+

October to May. The forest route closes during peak monsoon, mid-June to early October.

Is the trek hard?+

Easy to moderate. The jeep covers the rough 11 km; the walk is about 1.5 km over rocky ground with shallow stream crossings.

Do we need to know swimming for water sports?+

No. Every activity is run with a life jacket and a rescue boat, and instructors brief non-swimmers separately.

Changes & cancellations

What if it rains or the sea is rough?+

If the operator or the authorities cancel, you choose a full refund or a new date. We never push a boat out in unsafe conditions.

Can I change my date?+

Yes, once free of charge if you tell us more than 24 hours before departure, subject to availability.

How long do refunds take?+

Initiated within 48 hours of approval and typically in your account within 5 to 7 working days.

Groups & corporate

Do you handle company offsites?+

Yes — team charters, MICE groups, award nights and conference add-ons, for teams from 10 to 400. The corporate desk replies with a costed plan within 48 hours.

Can you arrange stays and transfers too?+

Yes. Most group bookings come to us as a full package: hotels, airport transfers, cruise or yacht night, an adventure day and the meals in between.

Still unsure?

Send an enquiry with your dates and we'll tell you honestly what fits — including when the answer is "not this week".
